Stepsie is a up and coming online project management, very sleek and fun to use, but limited in function if you’re accustomed to more powerful systems. Run by Australians, Estonians and an Italian, Stepsie has fewer features than most competitors, but focuses to get you to finish your task with an extraordinary care.
As the name suggest, Stepsie relies on “steps” as the way to organize your work: each step encompasses a task, with its own discussion and files attached. As many project management system that have blossomed lately, Stepsie choose to unificate task, communication and documents: it’s an attitude we like very much, and we think that Stepsie has implemented a good way to organize jobs to be done. Its interface is very, very simple (some may think it’s too much simple), although some things can be improved upon – just to name one, space is poorly managed within the app, with wide boxes and large text: we don’t like software too crammed, but neither we like too wide a solution.
Conclusion
Overall, we left Stepsie with a good first impression, hoping that they will be able to build a solid product on this impression.
