Let’s be honest: Cool PDF Reader needs a serious redesign.
Despite its poor user interface, Cool PDF Reader is a sleek PDF reader: it’s less than a 4MB download, and it’s crazy-fast. Unfortunately, it has not so many features, and its user interface could benefit from a total overhaul.
If you confront Cool PDF Reader to some other PDF reader software such as Sumatra o Skim (to avoid the usual Acrobat Reader), you’ll quickly notice that maybe the only features with which Cool PDF Reader outperform its competitors are its small installer package, and page rotation. The latter is a neat feature that we didn’t find a lot in other software. Please consider that along with its lack of features, Cool PDF Reader will pester you with a lot of pop-ups, urging you to buy some other software of its parent company.

If you value speed over every other thing, Cool PDF Reader could be your choice, but we suggest you to take a look at the other software in its category.
