Trillian is a cloud-based solution designed to help healthcare companies manage instant messaging processes to improve internal communication. The software allows users to manage group chats, sorted by team or department, and share information on patient status, staff shifts and more. Key features of Trillian are: employee directory, telephony, private chat, file sharing and medical record management. The read receipts feature shows the time the messages were read, eliminating the need to send follow-ups. With implementation on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android devices, the program allows teams to control clinical communication through existing hardware.

• Themes and Emoticons: themes -including light and dark – and emoticons powered by our friends at JoyPixels let your personalize Trillian any way you’d like. Change colors to suit your particular mood, and always have the right emoji on hand to express what you’re feeling
• PIN and Password-Based Client Locking: in addition to standard password-based authentication flows, Trillian clients can be configured to automatically lock after a period of inactivity with a special PIN code (or user password) required to unlock
• Encryption at Rest and In Transit: all connections to Trillian are encrypted using TLS 1.2+. Additionally, data is encrypted at rest at both the disk level (using technologies like BitLocker and LUKS) and the file level (using database-specific encryption methods).
