Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has a clean and simple interface, which we really appreciated.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware protects your PC from worms, rogues, dialers, Trojans, rootkits, spyware, exploits, bots, and other malware. It has a free version that you can use to check the status of your hard disk, but if you need real-time protection or to schedule a scan, you’ll need to upgrade to the premium edition.

Be aware that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a malware removal tool, not a proper antivirus, so you’d better have one at hand for a complete check-up; but Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is excellent at eradicating some malware that can lay undetected with your standard antivirus. A proprietary technology called Chameleon prevents malware from disabling Malwarebytes Anti-Malware keeping your PC protected from any harm. The Windows version support up to Windows XP, so even the eldest machines can use it. There’s also a Mac version that provide you with the free edition only, to scan for exploits or adware.
