Panda Internet Security 2016 is two-folded: it has great antivirus features but lags behind most of its competitors on many other fronts. Although it can adequately protect your Mac from a wide variety of virus, its firewall options are very limited and not so powerful, and when encountered a malicious site it often didn’t recognize it as a phishing menace.
Even if you install this Internet Security software on your Mac, it allows you to run an antivirus on your Android device and even an anti-theft system to delete your device remotely. To be honest, you can install Panda Internet Security 2016 on Mac or Windows machines alike, but it’s the only Panda software that can be installed on Mac computers.
Since we’re talking about an Internet Security app, we find the usual suspects: you can verify which program on your computer tries to access the Internet. There’s a parental control option, but it’s not so advanced. Panda offers you a 2GB free storage space for your backup (through Mozy online backup).
Conclusion
Overall, many competitors offer you a robust alternative to Panda Internet Security 2016, even Panda itself, with its free antivirus. Unfortunately, it doesn’t run on macOS, so you have to buy this Internet Security suite…
