FreshMail provides all the necessary tools you need to launch your email marketing campaign. Easy to use and quite intuitive, using this powerful platform you can easily manage your subscriber lists, importing your contacts from .cvs, .xls and uploading them from Basecamp and Google. With segmentation and targeting options, you can automate your emails based on the activity and behavior of your subscribers and reach them at the right moment.
When it comes to creating a proper email you can count on a real drag-and-drop template editor: choose a responsive template from the FreshMail’s dedicated library and not-so-easily customize it to get started on your email marketing campaign. The software also lets you create, send and follow a number of different types of marketing campaigns in addition to email, such as text messages, URL-based, API-based, optimized by weekday, periodic, A/B tests or scheduled. Sometimes the dashboard shows options in Polish, and you need to suppose what to do. The same problem recurs with error messages: your campaign might be rejected, a message in Polish appears and you need Google Translate to understand why. That’s awful.
Another basic feature FreshMail provides you is the possibility of track engagement with your emails, following clicks, viewing the number of opened messages, as well as seeing the location of your subscribers. Comprehensive and easy to understand, the reports are accurate and downloadable and helps you to conceive better communication strategies and improve them.
Deliverability results
FreshMail deliverability was amongs the worst we collected through our test, scoring just south of 82%. It’s not a bad rate per se, but the opening rate is an abismal 2%. Yes, it depends mostly on your list’s quality, but we suppose that many of our subscribers got our newsletter in their spam folder. Keep an eye on our deliverability test to compare FreshMail to its competitors!
Conclusion
FreshMail lets you design and optimize your newsletters, thanks to an intuitive template editor. Importing your HTML template is not easy as it may seem.

I’ve got a lot of experience with Freshmail and the FreshForm application. I run two stores and an online store and now it’s easy to send newsletters to everybody. The signup form on a tablet really works well and means that my customer service looks good and makes me look good.
For my campaigns, it’s really easy to segment my database and send personalized messages to both online and offline customers. I’ve seen this handled different ways in other systems and Freshmail gets it right.
There are also tons of templates in the designer/creator library so it’s easy to get started and then customize everything the way you need it. No wasting time starting from scratch. I just take a template, add my pictures and text and it’s ready to go. It looks great and you don’t have to know how to use photoshop or know any kind of coding.
