This software is not working with Windows 10. I informed NOVA Development of this on May 8, 2020. After multiple emails back and forth, I was told there is an issue and the technical team has no patch and does not know when a patch will be available.
I do not recommend this product.
It looks so nice. I bought Label Factory 4.0 in Staples last week.
We tried to get it to work on Windows 7 desktop, a 2 year old HP Omen with Win10, a 1 year old HP Omen with Win10 and a brand new HP ZBook with Win10.
Each time: it installs and launches but no buttons will work at all.
Each computer tried right click on the various Adobe Flash settings.
Each computer tried Windows compatibility modes for every option available: XP SP3, Win7, Win8, Win10 with same result: Windows error message that software is not compatible with Windows (despite claim that it is on retail box).
There are no product downloads or updates available on the Nova Development website.
3.5 hours on hold while working (and having meetings) and finally got through to JM case 225273 only to be told that this is a known issue with Adobe Flash and “latest” Windows Update.
Since Adobe Flash is installed as part of the Label Factory 4 install and the issue is consistent across multiple OS (including legacy Win7): I call BS on this one.
Returning product to Staples. I will NEVER purchase another Nova Development software.
I bought LabelJoy online for 3x the price and it just works. It is not about cost: it is about actually making a product that does SOMETHING even remotely resembling what it is supposed to do. I left a similar feedback for Staples and plan to return my software when i go shopping this weekend.
