SimpleOCR’s interface is slightly out of date…
SimpleOCR is a freeware solution that can be fully used by consumer as well as business users, but you have to understand that although it is a free software and you can use and even improve it (or redistribute it), it may not have the efficiency and usability that other professional solutions have.
In fact, SimpleOCR usability and user interface is weak and out of date, and it only has basic scanning functions. Anyhow, if that’s what you’re interested in, SimpleOCR is more than enough and can be successfully used in your home office or through your company.
Conclusion
Despite a severe lack of many features, SimpleOCR does what it says and it’s pretty reliable.
