BLABLACAR: HOW TO REDUCE TRAVEL COSTS BY CAR
BlaBlaCar makes life easier. It’s the meeting place for those who own a car and want to save on gas and tolls, and those who don’t own a car but are not keen on taking public transportation.
WHAT IS BLABLACAR?
BlaBlaCar was born in France thanks to the commitment of some students to create a service based on sharing the car trip. The initial name was “Covoiturage.fr”, translated into Italian in “Postoinauto.it” and then renamed “BlaBlaCar”. It is currently active in 22 countries around the world and available in Italy since 2012. It allows you to offer and take short or long-distance car rides. Traveling costs are split among the driver/car owner and the passengers.
