As with all its apps, Apple made sure that Mail is fully functioning in full screen mode.
When you buy a new Mac, you’ll get a handful of good apps for free: you can edit your movies with iMovie, record your songs with GarageBand, and stay in touch with friends and family with Mail, their flagship email client. Of course, as with many of Apple’s entry-level products, it may seem a stripped-down software, with little functions for better manage your emails, but actually, it’s a good email client. And most of all, it’s free.
With Mail, you can manage multiple accounts, either POP3 and IMAP. You can set up folders and sub-folders to archive your emails, and rules to effectively sort them accordingly to your liking. Unfortunately, if you’re a power-user, Apple Mail is just not your cup of tea. This is barely a professional tool in the sense that it’s efficient in managing your correspondence, but not much more.
On the flip side, you can customize Mail with some plugins that you can easily find on the web, so not everything’s lost.

Overall, Apple Mail is an excellent basic email client that won’t let you down.
