Planning for a weekend ski trip and need to check the weather forecast? Or do you want to know what time the sun will rise tomorrow morning? Google Weather can help you.
GOOGLE WEATHER: WHAT DOES IT DO?
There are many applications for weather forecast, but the Google Weather app is undoubtedly one of the best. It has a clean design, displays all the important information including humidity rate, sunrise and sunset times, wind speed, rain and more. It is completely free, but tricky to install because it’s not listed on the Google Play Store.
HOW TO INSTALL THE GOOGLE WEATHER APP
Getting the Google weather app on your phone is as easy as downloading an app from the Play Store, but the process is completely different. To get started, open the Google app, pre-installed on most Android phones. If you can’t find it, you can download it from here. Next, type “weather” into the Google search box: the weather forecast for your city will come up. You will see a box at the top titled “Instantly access weather conditions from the main screen”. Tap the “Add” option, then tap “Add” again on the pop-up window and the Google weather app will be automatically added to the main screen.
If you can’t see the box “Access the weather instantly from the main screen”, tap the icon in the upper right corner of the weather widget (three vertical dots), select the option “Add a link to the Home screen” and then complete the process by tapping “Add” when the pop-up window appears.
