We already told you how to free up some space on your Android devices, being either smartphones or tablets. We’re going to talk a little more about it because Microsoft has a new feature: OneDrive offers another solution to free up space on Android.
This feature is aimed to photographs because they occupy a whole lot of space on our devices. On Google Photos is already available the option “Free up space”, but those wanting to try the Microsoft version, here we are.
The mechanism is very similar: every time that you upload photos for 1GB or more on OneDrive, the app will ask you if you want to delete them from your device so to free up space. This feature is still in beta for OneDrive for Android, so there is still room for improvement. OneDrive app is already on the Google Play Store, but you have to sign up to receive beta updates and get into their Google+ community.
